Fr. Kevin Regan ’03: ordained as a priest in 2008 and has served in many parishes since then. He enjoys returning to the CSC to see how the students continue to encounter Christ through the sacraments and community life. His favorite memory of the CSC is helping out with the freshman retreat as a senior. While at the CSC he encountered Christ through Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and community life and continues to do the same but with the addition of more private and scriptural prayer. His advice is to pray, slow down, and discern involvement in your parish, overall BE OPEN!
Matthew Albaugh ‘04: single, math professor at Roosevelt University, member of St. Mary of Perpetual Help parish in Chicago. His piece of advice is to find young adult groups at local parishes!
Jennifer Ewing ‘04: college counselor at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Baltimore, MD, receiving M.Ed in educational leadership, member of the Catholic School leaders cohort at Loyola University. Her favorite memory was the Baccalaureate Mass .
Fr. Patrick Lewis ‘04: ordained in 2012, serves as parochial vicar at Sacred Heart in Bowie, MD. His advice is to make a point to keep up with your friends.
Fr. David Wells ‘05: ordained in 2010, serves as parochial vicar at St. John Neumann Parish in Gaithersburg, MD. His favorite memories are the Blob’s Park polka dance outings.
Jeannette (Lopez) Garcia ‘06: married to Luis, 1 child, stay at home mother, active in a mother’s Bible Study, leads another Bible Study, presents on NFP with Luis, lives in South Central PA. Her favorite memory is helping Fr. Bill host a monthly daily Mass in Spanish.
Christine Ikeda ‘06: single, assistant professor at the University of New Orleans in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Her favorite memory was coming to the church at the Easter Vigil. She is currently encountering Christ through going to mass and living the Gospel through action.
Mary Sullivan ‘06: married to Matt (Catholic Terp ‘02), three daughters, homeschooling mom, freelance communications, serves on the board of Catholic Review in Baltimore, MD, marriage prep work with Matt, member of St. Mary of the Mills in Laurel , MD. One of her strongest memories was being at the CSC at the time of St. John Paul II’s death, everyone flocking to Mass solemnly the first Sunday following, and on the day of his funeral all of the Catholic Terps wore their T-Shirts as a sign of unity and turned out in force for a special memorial mass for him.
Fr. Peter Martyr (Patrick) Yungwirth, OP ‘06: ordained as a Dominican priest in 2014, serves as assistant chaplain at Providence College in Rhode Island. He encountered Christ through someone inviting him to meet Him. He now encounters him in many ways but particularly through the Mass.
Colleen Esper Negron ‘08: married to Oscar, 2 children, living in Houston, TX. Colleen encountered Christ at the CSC through Fr. Bill Byrne who she said “was an amazing mentor to our community bringing joy and heartfelt wisdom”. Fr. Byrne baptized her son, David.
Jessica Mealey ‘08: married, 1 son, Spanish teacher. When she was at the CSC she encountered Christ through all of the people, reconciliation, and Holy Hour. Now she experiences Christ through prayer and family.
Danielle Miller ‘08: teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools, former youth leader at Ascension Catholic Church, member of St.Hugh’s parish. Her favorite CSC memory is her First Timer’s retreat where she met her best friends, Myca, Maria, Megan, and Kelsey who then went together to build for Habitat for Humanity in SC.
Chris McGrath ‘09: married to Kaitlyn ‘09 (Seith), 2 children, senior accountant, serves as a lector and Eucharistic minister, member of Our Lady of the Fields parish in Millersville, MD. He is currently encountering Christ through his growing family, seeing the selflessness of his wife, the generosity of friends and family, and his opportunities to sacrifice for his children.
