Dedicated in 1952 as a living memorial to members of the University community that gave their lives in times of war, the non-denominational Memorial Chapel is among the most visible icons of the University of Maryland.
The chapel is located on South Campus across Regents Drive from the Chapel Fields. Parking is heavily restricted in the area, especially on weekdays; refer to its Directions and Parking page for more information.
