Life-Giving Wounds Retreat – University of Maryland

Come for a deeper understanding of the wounds left by your parents’ divorce or separation, or family brokenness, for advice concerning the love and trust of others, and for an experience of Christ that will lead you to greater self-understanding and healing.
The weekend is led by peers and experienced Catholic leaders, in partnership with Life-Giving Wounds Ministry, and features six talks to help you heal and thrive, small group discussions with peers, Eucharistic adoration with live music, art, sacraments, time for prayer, and much more.
Topics covered during the weekend include:
-Wounds, grief, and hope
-Identity, faith, and our relationship with God
-Love, dating, sex, and the Sacrament of Marriage
-Loneliness, anger, and anxiety
-Forgiveness and family boundaries
-Christian meaning of suffering
And more!
Cost is $50, scholarships available. Cost of retreat has been highly subsidized by our partnership with Life Giving Wounds.

If you are an out-of-state college student or recent alumni under 25 and would like to join us, then please contact Matt Aujero at matt@catholicterps.org and ask to be placed on a waitlist. If there are still spots available on March 15, then we’ll notify you at that time.
